International Calling

Overview:

Zoom phone system allows international calls to over 150 countries, countries listed below are reachable, without needing any formal request.

American Samoa
Bahamas
Italy
Japan
Republic of Korea
Portugal
Puerto Rico
Saudi Arabia
Spain
UK
US Minor Outlying Islands
Virgin Islands

*Unlimited calling in the US and Canada.

If you need to call a country that’s not listed, please submit a ticket to itshelp@eckerd.edu, or call 727-864-8318 for country and extension activation. The college will incur long distance charges when dialing (except within the US and Canada).

International calling code (011) must be dialed before the country/area code + number except for NACP (see below)

Europe:

To call a number in the UK (44) with area code 20, you would dial:

011 44 20 1234-5678

Africa:

To call a number in South Africa (27) with the local number 123-4567, you would dial:

011 27 123-4567

Asia:

To call a number in Japan (81), Tokyo (3), with a local number 123-4567, you would dial:

011 81 3 123-4567

Bahamas:

Country code is (1) + 242 (Bahamas area code) then 7 digits (just like dialing a long distance number in the US).

An example number would be: 1-242-123-4567
