International Calling

Zoom phone system allows international calls to over 150 countries, however only the following are available without a special request:

• US

• Canada

• American Samoa

• Bahamas

• Italy

• Japan

• Republic of Korea

• Portugal

• Puerto Rico

• Saudi Arabia

• Spain

• UK

• US Minor Outlying Islands

• Virgin Islands

Unlimited calling in the US and Canada.

If you need to call a country that’s not listed, please have your department head submit a ticket to itshelp@eckerd.edu or call 727-864-8318 for country and extension activation.  The college will incur long distance charges when dialing (except US and Canada).

International calling code (011) must be dialed before the country/area code + number except for NACP (see below)

Europe:

To call a number in the UK (44) with area code 20, you would dial: 

011 44 20 1234-5678

Africa:

To call a number in South Africa (27) with the local number 123-4567, you would dial: 

011 27 123-4567

Asia:

To call a number in Japan (81), Tokyo (3),  with a local number 123-4567, you would dial:

011  81  3  123-4567

NACP - North American Calling Plan - included countries listed below.

Country code is (1) + 242 (Bahamas area code) then 7 digits - (just like dialing a long distance number in the US).  

Dialing would be: 1-242-123-4567
